Diwali Celebration

It is time to remove the darkness of ignorance within us and replace it with the light of hope and knowledge instead. The festival of lights came alive at St. John International School, with a difference this time due to Pandemic on 11th November 2020.

Although Online, the whole school wore a festive look. While celebrating Diwali in online, everything led the way in spreading the message of celebrating safe and pollution-free Eco-Friendly Diwali.

The primary section got engaged in Diya Decoration, Paper Lantern Making and Flower Rangoli to enhance the creative skills of the students. Students of Grade VI to VIII showed their skills in Rangoli making and diya decoration too. For Grade IX-XI, the students brought out their competitive spirit with colours, depicting their creativity through Rangoli Making Competition at home. They were allowed to take one extra helping hand with the involvement of parents.

The festive aura was concluded with a message by Principal, who offered her warm wishes to the children and reiterated that children should celebrate pollution free Diwali in its purest form by lighting the lamps and sharing with less fortunate and also maintain safe distance to be protected against Corona Virus.
