Diwali Celebration

It is amazing how festivals bring people together. Diwali, the festival of lights, that enlightens the hearts and brings joy to every heart was virtually celebrated at St. John International School , Palghar with great zeal and enthusiasm .. Decorated in vibrant hues, the school had an ambience of joy and happiness. On the auspicious occasion of Diwali ,the students were enlightened about the significance of Diwali which is celebrated to commemorate the victory of good over evil and knowledge over ignorance through a power point presentation. The message to celebrate clean and green Diwali and vocal to the local products was shared with the students through the ppt . The students of grade I – VIII actively participated in the activities such as diya decoration , paper lantern making , star making and toran making etc. Which were conducted through the online classes . The students of grade IX- X participated in the Rangoli decoration activity . The hard copies of the projects and activities assigned to the students were submitted in the school for the decoration of a school quadrangle . Overall , it was a great event .
