A field visit to the St John Pharmacy Lab was organised for Grade IX and X on Saturday 16th November. The learning outcome for the visit was to get to know about pharmaceutical machinery and its importance in todays world. Mrs Sahaya was the professor of SJPL who guided our students.They were shown the Tablet punching machine (manual as well as automatic), and a Tablet coating machine. The students were taken to the Chemistry lab, M. Pharm Lab and shown the REMI-RLR300 machine which is used to maintain the temperature of different chemicals and the melting point apparatus. Mr. Abhijeet , the faculty explained that the B. Pharm and M. Pharm students conduct various experiments on the tissues in the lab, as a part of their curriculum implementation.
