Earth is called the green planet due to the presence of plants on it. In order to instil the value of growing plants and to explain them the importance of it. The students of St.  John International School Grade I A B C went to a field trip to the vegetable garden near by at St John Technical campus.

The little ones were shown different types of plants and explained the various parts of plants and their uses. They learnt about the parts of plants and their size,  color, fruits, vegetables. The children had a wonderful learning experience. The trip was a great success and a memorable experience for the little ones.
