To commemorate Kargil Victory Day on 26^th July ’19, St John International School showcased the video released by the HRD Ministry to pay their heartfelt homage to the martyrs of Indian Army, BSF and other troops who sacrificed their lives and won the war at Kargil. It was done with a view to salute the real heroes of the Nation and inspire the students for a patriotic cause as patriotism is a vital virtue which must be deep rooted in young minds

On this occasion, the school also conducted various activities like Painting competition, Debate Competition and Essay writing competition for the students from Grade VI to X.

Students displayed posters & paintings with their imagination & blood warming slogans to celebrate this day depicting moment of pride, courage and sacrifice shown by our Army Men and pledged to serve the Nation in every possible manner.

Principal Sr. Apoline Pais appreciated the efforts put in by the students of class VI to X. She urged the students to remember the sacrifices the great martyrs made for our protection. She remarked that we should not take our freedom for granted, rather should strive every day to make India worthy of the invaluable sacrifice made by the Kargil Heroes.
