October is celebrated as National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) globally. Now in its 17th year, NCSAM continues to raise awareness about the importance of cyber security across our Nation.
Cyber safety is the need of the hour and St. John International School always tries to keep its students and staff updated with all the latest trends.
NCSAM Theme for October 2020 is “Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart.”
This theme encourages individuals and organizations to own their role in protecting their part of cyberspace, stressing personal accountability and the importance of taking proactive steps to enhance cyber security.
NCSAM emphasizes “If You Connect It, Protect It.”
As a part of NCSAM, SJIS conducted a session to raise awareness about the importance of cyber security among students and staff during the trending online classes.
In the current pandemic situation where teach from home and learn from home is a reality for all of us and Digital services are on the rise, so are cyber attacks. Cyber Security has become more important than ever in today’s Digital Life. Hence, this session gave everyone an insight into the cyber world and being protected against all the threats.
This session was conducted for all the classes of Grade I-XI from 19th to 24th October, 2020 and a webinar was conducted for all the teachers on 22nd October, 2020 through Google Meet.
