Rakhi making activity
‘Raksha Bandhan’ or ‘Rakhi’ is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions.
To commemorate this festival, a Rakhi Making Activity was organised for the students of St. John International School on 26th August. The girls of the primary section made beautiful Rakhi using different articles like silken thread, ribbon, etc. and the boys made thank you cards in return for the rakhi.
Their artisanship was quite fascinating and children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their creative side.
The objective of this activity was to inculcate a sense of brotherhood among students. Also, to sensitise students towards each other’s feelings and emotions.
