‘Rejoice in the glory of the nation to celebrate the spirit of unity and patriotism’
‘ Celebrate the colours of our tricolour.’
Our school celebrated India’s 75th Republic Day with great eclat. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. The programme began at 9.30am. The Management members, Principal and Chief Guest were welcomed with a slow march past.
The guest members were escorted to the flag hoisting ceremony by our school band team. Our chief guest Dr. S.Kumaraperumal, Professor MMS, Director of PGDM , along with our Chairman, Mr. Albert W D’Souza hoisted the National flag, the students saluted the National flag and pledged to uphold the honour and integrity of our country. The choir group sang the national anthem. The school students paid their respects to the national flag in the form of a parade.
Miss Ananya Singhvi and Master Aaditya Sawant of grade IX A took up the duty of gracing the day by compering. The chief guest of the day, Dr.Kumar, addressed the students and reminded us of our constitution , rights and duties. He emphasised on the existing low labour percent of our country and encouraged the young generation to develop their skills and efficiency in the field of science and technology. Miss Insiya Maharu , student of grade VIII A brought the stage alive with her passion and love for the motherland through her speech. The school choir team sang “ swarg se sundar desh hamara” and brought the feeling of patriotism in everyone’s heart. Our young energetic students performed outstandingly on the song ‘YODDHA’ , which resembled the “NARI SHAKTI” of mother India. Students of Aldel High School performed rhythmic aerobics energetically. Miss Mahi Verma, student of grade IX B, gave the concluding speech. At the end a vote of thanks was proposed by Miss.Pragati Bajpai.
The students dispersed with the image of the fluttering tricolour in their mind and heart.
