Sports Day

On Tuesday, January 31st, 2023, our school celebrated its annual sports day with great enthusiasm. On this special day, our Principal, Sr. Veena Monteiro, was our chief guest. The programme started at 9:00 am. All the students were Zealous that day; excitement could be easily seen in their eyes.
The chief guest declared the sports meet open by lighting the torch and after that all the four house leaders (Red, Blue, green, yellow) ran with the torch. The students took the sports oath.
Various sports programmes were organised by the school sports department on this day, in which students participated according to their interests. All the games were organised on our school playground. Different sports were played, which included Cricket, Badminton, Kho-Kho, Throwball, Dodgeball, Running race, Potato race, Sack race, Relay race etc. The last game of the sports day event was football. All the houses were awarded points on the basis of their performance
Winners of various games were felicitated with medals and certificates. Sports Day ended with the National Anthem.
