Online Inter-School Quiz Competition

‘If you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it.’An exciting Inter-School Quiz competition was held on 19 th December 2020 to boost the general knowledge on a variety of Genres combining CBSE Art Integrated Education including the states of Maharashtra &
Odisha. The Genres like current affairs, science, technology, art,entertainement, sports, languages, literature etc. were included.
The event was online. The students of Grade VIII – X were the enthusiastic participants. 12 teams were shortlisted from 12 schools situated at Boisar, Palghar, Dahanu and Virar.
The quiz was divided into four rounds: Pick a Genre, Mixed Bag, Audio-visual and Rapid Fire. All the students were at the edge of their seats to know the answers and it was nail biting competition. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing and exciting.This quiz truly was a learning experience, for everyone who attended.Chinmaya School Tarapur was declared the winner with a cash prize of Rs.1500/- and certificates, Teens World Corporate School secured First Runners up position with cash prize of Rs1000/- and certificates and St. John International School bagged the Second Runners Up position and was awarded certificates.
